BRISTOL EXCLUSIVE - A NEW GENERATION GLUE for gluing elite non-woven, vinyl, paper and cloth wallpapers. It is important to know what was considered earlier, the more you can add water to a bundle of glue, the better (for example, the proportion of 1:40 or 250 g of dry adhesive per 10 liters of water). This was permissible when light paper wallpapers were made without a vinyl decorative layer, through which the water from the adhesive easily evaporated across the entire surface of the wallpaper pieces.
Everything has changed with the appearance of vinyl or acrylic covering on wallpaper, through which moisture does not pass. Water from under the wallpaper began to evaporate 5 times slower and mainly through the joints of wallpaper. When drying the glued wallpaper, the pieces on the paper base begin to narrow and the joints should be dry and glued to the surface to withstand the strain of the wallpaper pieces. Otherwise, the joints will displace.
In modern adhesives, the less water is added to the glue, the better it is (for example, a proportion of 1: 8 or 250 g of dry adhesive to 2 liters of water). Firstly, there is more adhesive in the solute and when dry, the layer of adhesive under the wallpaper thicker. Secondly, the water from under the wallpaper evaporates before wallpaper begins drying and tapering. This allows you not to split the joints and stick them firmly.
But if you use a dissolving ratio of 1: 8 in normal adhesive, then it will be very thick as jelly. Such adhesive can not be applied to walls or wallpaper. Thanks to the special formula, the BRISTOL EXCLUSIVE adhesive, when diluted 1: 8 or 250 g per 2 liters of water, has a good consistency of solution for easy application on the wallpaper and surface.
